Introduction
This policy is issued by PT Topi Putih Siberindo, trading as Whitesec ID ("we"), the owner of Whitesec One, Jakarta, Indonesia. It explains how we handle personal data collected through whitesec.one, in line with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP) and with reference to ISO/IEC 27701.
Visitors in Australia and New Zealand are served by Whitesec AU, whose handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy (Australia).
Scope
This policy covers this website and the enquiries you send us through it, on WhatsApp, by email or by phone. Data that customers keep inside the Whitesec One application is governed by the customer agreement.
Personal data we collect
- What you send when you contact us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone: your name, phone number or email address, and what you tell us, such as your organisation, country and the frameworks you are working on.
- If you allow analytics: page views and basic device information, counted by Vercel Web Analytics, and page-load speed measured by Vercel Speed Insights, without cookies or persistent identifiers.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, which include IP addresses.
We do not ask for specific personal data as defined in UU PDP Article 4(2), and our contact channels are not intended for children.
Purpose of processing
- To answer your question or arrange the demo you asked for.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful, only if you allow analytics.
- To keep the website secure and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Lawful basis for processing
Under UU PDP Article 20, we process what you send us on the basis of your consent and to take the steps you request before any agreement; analytics only on your consent; and server logs to meet legal obligations and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Storage and retention
Contact and demo requests are kept for up to three years after our last contact, unless you become a customer, in which case the customer agreement applies. Analytics data follows Vercel's retention settings. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
Data security
Whitesec ID is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and applies the controls described on our Security page, including encryption in transit and access limited to the people who need it.
If a personal data protection failure affects your data, we will notify you and the personal data protection authority in writing no later than 3 x 24 hours, as UU PDP Article 46 requires.
Your rights as a data subject
Under UU PDP you may, among other things:
- obtain information about how and why your data is processed;
- access and obtain a copy of your data;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to end processing, or delete or destroy your data;
- withdraw consent you have given;
- object to decisions based solely on automated processing;
- ask us to delay or restrict processing.
Disclosure and transfer
- Whitesec AU in Australia, only if your enquiry concerns Australia or New Zealand.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and provides the optional analytics.
- WhatsApp, operated by Meta Platforms, which carries the messages you send us on WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
These recipients may process data outside Indonesia, including in Australia and the United States. We transfer personal data abroad only on the grounds UU PDP Article 56 allows: an equal or higher level of protection in the recipient country, adequate and binding safeguards, or your consent.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site stores one value in your browser to remember your cookie choice. Analytics load only after you choose Allow analytics, and you can change your choice at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer.
